1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, smartphone, or tablet) by websites and applications you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the owners of the site.
Cookies may be classified in different ways:
- Session cookies are temporary cookies that exist only for the duration of your browser session. They are automatically deleted when you close your browser. Session cookies are typically used to maintain the continuity of your visit, such as keeping you logged in as you navigate between pages.
- Persistent cookies remain on your device after your browser session ends, until they expire or you delete them manually. They are used to remember your preferences and settings across multiple visits.
- First-party cookies are set directly by Immobilix (i.e., by SocialWeb Strategy) on the domain you are visiting. We have direct control over these cookies.
- Third-party cookies are set by external services and partners whose functionality we have integrated into our website or application, such as analytics providers and advertising networks. These cookies are governed by the privacy policies of the respective third parties.
In addition to cookies, we may use similar tracking technologies such as web beacons, pixel tags, and local storage objects. This Policy applies equally to all such technologies.
2. Types of Cookies We Use
We use the following categories of cookies on the Immobilix website and application:
Essential Cookies
These cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function correctly. Without them, core features of Immobilix — including authentication, security, and navigation — would not operate. Essential cookies cannot be disabled through our cookie preferences centre.
- Session token: Maintains your authenticated session while you are logged in to the platform.
- CSRF protection token: Protects against cross-site request forgery attacks, ensuring that form submissions and API requests originate from legitimate sessions.
- Load balancer cookie: Ensures that your requests are consistently routed to the same server during your session, maintaining application stability.
Provider: SocialWeb Strategy (first-party). Legal basis: Legitimate interests / performance of contract.
Performance Cookies
Performance cookies allow us to analyse how visitors interact with Immobilix, so we can measure and improve the performance of the platform. All data collected by these cookies is aggregated and anonymised — it does not identify you personally.
- Provider: Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC)
- Purpose: Tracking page views, feature usage patterns, session duration, error rates, and user flow through the application. This data helps us identify usability issues and prioritise product improvements.
- Data collected: Pages visited, time on page, referral source, browser and device type, approximate geographic location (country/city level).
Legal basis: Consent. You may opt out at any time via our cookie preferences centre or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Functional Cookies
Functional cookies enable the platform to remember choices you have made in order to provide a more personalised experience. Disabling these cookies may affect certain convenience features.
- Language preference: Remembers your selected interface language across visits.
- Theme preference: Stores your chosen display theme (light or dark mode).
- Last-used room template: Remembers which staging template you most recently applied, so you can pick up where you left off.
- Dismissed notifications: Records which in-app banners or announcements you have already seen, to avoid repetition.
Provider: SocialWeb Strategy (first-party). Legal basis: Consent.
Marketing Cookies
Marketing cookies are used to deliver relevant advertisements to you on third-party platforms and to measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. These cookies track your browsing activity across websites to build a profile of your interests.
- Google Ads (Google LLC): Used for conversion tracking and remarketing. Allows us to measure which ads lead users to sign up for Immobilix.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company): Provides demographic analytics about visitors who came from LinkedIn, and enables LinkedIn-based retargeting campaigns.
Legal basis: Consent. You may opt out of marketing cookies at any time via our cookie preferences centre, or through the opt-out mechanisms described in Section 4 below.
3. Third-Party Services
The following third-party services set or access cookies on our website and application. Each operates under its own cookie and privacy policy:
- Google Analytics (Google LLC, USA) — Analytics and usage measurement. Google processes data in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Data may be transferred to servers in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, Ireland) — Payment processing. Stripe sets cookies for fraud prevention, session continuity during checkout, and compliance purposes. Stripe's use of cookies is governed by its Privacy Policy.
- Intercom (Intercom R&D Unlimited Company, Ireland) — In-app customer support chat widget. Intercom uses cookies to identify returning users and maintain support conversation history. Governed by Intercom's Privacy Policy.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company) — Marketing analytics and retargeting. The LinkedIn Insight Tag collects data including URL, referrer, IP address, device and browser characteristics, and timestamp. Governed by LinkedIn's Privacy Policy.
4. Managing Cookies
You have several options for managing and controlling cookies:
Cookie Consent Banner
When you first visit Immobilix, you will be presented with a cookie consent banner allowing you to accept or decline non-essential cookies by category. You can update your preferences at any time by accessing the cookie settings link in the footer of our website.
Browser Settings
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. Here is how to access cookie settings in major browsers:
- Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data.
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Apple Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data.
Please note that disabling cookies through your browser may affect the functionality of Immobilix and other websites you visit.
Opt-Out Links
- Google Analytics opt-out: Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent your data from being collected by Google Analytics across all websites.
- LinkedIn opt-out: Manage your LinkedIn advertising preferences via LinkedIn's opt-out page.
- Your Online Choices: Visit youronlinechoices.com to opt out of interest-based advertising from participating networks across the EU.
5. Do Not Track
Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that signals to websites that you do not wish to be tracked. Immobilix respects DNT signals for analytics cookies (specifically Google Analytics). When a valid DNT signal is detected, performance and analytics cookies will not be activated for your session, in addition to any choices you have made through our cookie consent banner.
Please note that there is currently no universally accepted technical standard for DNT signals, and not all third-party services integrated into our platform may respond to DNT signals in the same way.
6. Cookie Retention
Cookies set by Immobilix and our third-party partners are retained for the following periods:
- Essential cookies: Session duration only (deleted when you close your browser), or as required to maintain authentication security.
- Performance cookies (Google Analytics): Up to 2 years from the date of last activity.
- Functional cookies: Up to 1 year from the date of last visit, or until you clear your browser data.
- Marketing cookies (Google Ads, LinkedIn): Up to 90 days from the date they are set, in line with the standard advertising attribution window.
7. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, changes in applicable law, or changes to our third-party service providers. Where updates are material, we will notify registered users by email and display an updated notice in the cookie consent banner when you next visit the website. The "Last updated" date at the top of this document will always reflect the most recent revision.
We encourage you to review this Cookie Policy periodically to stay informed about how we use cookies.
